Cynthia Román Sánchez, Esq.
Managing Partner · Attorney and Notary
Cynthia founded CRS Law Office in 2011 with a simple conviction: small business owners and Puerto Rican families deserve the same quality of legal work as large companies, without the distance or the bill of a big firm. Fifteen years later she still leads every case, with a team that speaks plainly and works to prevent problems before they happen.
The daughter of two public school teachers and the first lawyer and first entrepreneur in her family, she attended Penn State on scholarship and earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. Before founding the firm, she led a team of attorneys at one of the island's largest firms, served as in-house legal counsel at a publicly traded bank, and headed the bankruptcy department through the federal Bankruptcy Court's transition to electronic filing.
That career taught her to see the law from inside the business. Today she applies it for families and small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs): contract negotiation, corporate structure, business succession and, through Mi Legado (My Legacy), estate planning and family meetings. She accompanied her parents in their final years, and that experience gave rise to that division.
